I used to work at Honest-1 as a lube tech and I loved It as any student who is studying automotive technology would. That is, until I had to do my 5 week PAID internship for school. Fast forward to the end of the 5 weeks and now they tell me they can't pay me because its an internship. That's not what we agreed on. Management at this shop is a total joke.
Every time I go here for a simple oil change they have a list of things that "need" to be done. After doing some research, the estimates are way overpriced. I've overheard them telling people that they won't be able to sell their car if they don't get recommended scheduled maintenance because the Carfax report won't be up to par. It seems like they try to use fear and scare tactics to get people to get their services completed. The 5 minutes at the counter paying for my oil change I overheard the exact same thing happening to 3 other customers. I feel like this business is taking advantage of their customers.
Started going there when it was New Hope Automotive and when the business was sold I thought I would give them a try. I have been very pleased with their service which is excellent. They are competitive on prices and everyone who works there is great to deal with. Highly recommend them.
A clean lobby, friendly staff and up front details about what needs to be done. That's all I need!
I was really happy with the way I was treated at Honest-1 in New Hope.....Their shop is clean, the waiting area is comfortable and clean...they kept me informed about what was going on, and did a great job of fixing my car...Chris was especially helpful in the process thoroughly explaining everything to me.....all this in a very professional, friendly atmosphere...AND....they have a 3 year, or 36,000 miles warranty on most things they do...I DO recommend going to New Hope Honest-1 Auto Care.
