Friendly and helpful people on staff and surprisingly I always find what I need when I'm in a rush at my neighborhood hardware store.
This place is just a Hardware store joke.
They are really friendly here but they rope off parts of their store due to shoplifting and it really hinders me when I'm thinking about what is needed for my projects. I like to look and see for myself and browse unhindered around the store. I don't often come here just for that reason.
The manager would not cut a GM resistor key I bought for my 2001 Buick. He said "The store owner will not allow it"!!! ??? I then went to a "REAL" ACE Hardware store on Hwy 55 & Winnetka. "No Problem" - they said.

EVERYTHING in this store is ridiculously over priced! 80¢ for a bolt?!!! The exact same bolt was 37¢ at another place.. it might not seem like a lot but when you get 6 of them it's around 3.00$ difference!
